Funky Warehouse

Funky Warehouse:

Overview:

Funky Warehouse is a trampoline and soft play centre Central to Cheltenham.  It is very much an open plan setting and therefore easy for you see where the children are and what they are doing.

Review by Vic:

We have visited once on a Sunday morning and it was quite relaxed and not too busy. The soft play area is great for the younger children (not that its restricted). The trampoline/bounce area is very open planned and easy to see your children, and move between each section.  We explained to the staff our child’s needs and they were very accommodating as there are rules about walking between the bounce areas.

Funky Warehouse runs Disability Sessions.  These are now on a Monday: 2-3pm, 4-5pm and 5-pm. Cost is £6.50 per child, and carer goes free.  Sessions used to be on a Wednesday but have recently been moved as they are now totally closed on Wednesdays.

They state; “This session is designed for children with disabilities to enjoy Funky Warehouse with siblings, either able bodied or disabled, on a smaller capacity session. Parents and/or carers can bounce for free”.

One of our followers regularly attends “these sessions are much quieter (in fact there were 2 of us there last week)”.

This is brilliant for those who have issues with queuing, crowds and noise.

The cafe sells snacks, drinks and hot food, which is a good place to base yourself and grab a coffee whilst the children are playing.  Also, if you are using the bounce section you need to purchase the correct socks, and also you need to watch the safety video/demonstration.

One thing is to double check each week it is running, as there have been a few occasions when it was cancelled due to a booked birthday party.
