Jet Age Museum Gloucester

The museum is run by volunteers who are all approachable and happy to help.  There is a children’s quiz to complete and at the end you are given a lovely jet based poster.  They are happy to give the poster given if the child hasn’t attempted the quiz.  There are lots of aircraft to see and for children under 1 metre tall they can sit in the smaller planes.  The larger planes outside are for people over the height of 1 metre.  However, they have a ticket system so it might be better to get the ticket first as they have specific times to visit.

On a rainy day, which is when we visited, it was quite busy.

During half term when it is open on a Wednesday my friend and her son visited and it was very relaxed and quiet.
