The centre will also host dedicated ‘relaxed sessions’ to help children and families with special requirements feel at ease. Taking place Sunday 24th November (11am and 11:20am) and Wednesday 4th December (5pm, 5:20pm and 5:40pm), providing a more relaxed attitude to noise and lighting away from peak visiting times, ensuring everyone can enjoy Meadowhall’s unique Christmas offering.

Certain to excite and inspire shoppers looking to capture the ultimate selfie this Christmas, Yorkshire’s number one attraction will open its Christmas Post Room doors, situated on the upper arcade on Saturday 23rd November. Offering visitors a twist on Christmas classics, The Post Room will be home to nine interactive and immersive areas, ensuring there is something for the whole family to enjoy and get themselves in the Christmas spirit. Santa will also have his very own hidden grotto, dedicated to meeting his visitors and handing out presents to good girls and boys.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (1st November), priced at £6.50 per child, which includes entry into the Post Room as well as a special visit to Santa to receive an exciting present. For adults and children just wanting to enjoy taking plenty of snaps in the Christmas Post Room, tickets are £3.50.
Visitors to Meadowhall’s Christmas Post Room can enjoy the following festive back-drops to create their very own Christmas Insta-perfect picture: Snowy Ball Pit – a gorgeous snowy scene with a fresh snow ball pit, Santa’s Sleigh Ride – a chance to jump on board Santa’s Sleigh, All I Want for Christmas is you – a present back-drop with a giant gift to jump out of, making YOU the perfect gift there is!, Glitter Room – adding that extra sparkle this festive period, Candy Cane – sweetness overload with a candy cane themed swing, Pinkmas – breaking the mould of traditional green and red with all things super-stylish and insta perfect-pink, The Ho Ho Hotline – a phone box straight to Santa’s hotline, so you can be sure you get your desired present on Christmas Day, The Christmas Pudding Bauble Room – a chance to get silly and act the giant pudding , Frozen Room – Sit in the ice chair and just ‘Let it Go’ and of course for those that choose to include Santa in their visit – Santa’s Cabin – a visit to the big man himself in his very own hidden grotto where he will have a special gift for each of his visitors!
