We have been to the play farm soft play on many occasions but solely for the “disability sessions”. These are advertised as “autism sessions” but all children with disabilities are welcome. The venue itself has a lovely café, smaller soft play areas for younger children, a sensory area and a larger part to have a good run around. They have parties and now laser quest. If you are attending it might be worth checking if there is a party because it might get busy or it might be closed. There are a small flight of stairs to access the main area. There is only one entry in and out. The food is pretty good and during the morning sessions we always grab something.
The disability sessions are every fortnight on a Sunday between 9am and 10am. They cost £5 per family. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with no music, loud noises and the children can play in all sections. You are able to stay after the session when it is open to the general public. We really enjoy these sessions as everyone is in the same boat and has a good understanding of each other.
We do not have dedicated customer parking, however we are located directly opposite the NCP at The Brewery Quarter. Paying customers are entitled to a 20% discount on their parking charge. Just ask at reception.
When we have attended on a Sunday we have parked down the side street for free.
