Woburn Safari Park

Woburn Safari Park is a safari park located in Woburn, Bedfordshire, and easily accessible from the M1 motorway at either junctions 11 or 12.  You can drive through exhibits, which contain species such as southern white rhino, elephants, tigers and black bears.

As a kid we use to go quite a lot as one or both my brother and I use to hide under a blanket so we didn’t have to pay (I think it was pretty expensive in the 1980s).  However,  the last time we went we used Clubcard vouchers and even without its quite reasonably priced.

There are several disabled toilets at the venue including one located at the main entrance to the park, in the Safari Restaurant, in the Mammoth Ark play area, outside the Animal Encounters area, in the main toilet block by Junglies gift shop and adjacent to the Badger Valley play area.  They use a radar key system is in for the disabled toilets in the courtyard, please ask a member of staff in Junglies Gift Shop for the key, there will be a returnable £5 desposit for use; or if you have your own radar key you are can use.  If you do need changing facilities for larger children and adults they are available in the first aid room, just ask staff in Junglies Gift Shop for a key and state your requirements. Unfortunately, there is no hoist equipment available for use.
