Toro Lounge Cirencester

Toro Lounge is a café, bar, restaurant in the centre of Cirencester on Cricklade Street.  It is one of our favourite places to go to eat as a family, or a place to meet friends, have brunch, dinner or breakfast.  It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the staff are friendly and approachable, and we love the food.  They have a large open plan seating/eating area downstairs which is completely accessible and there is a disabled toilet which also has baby changing facilities.  Upstairs there are more places to eat and sit and again its nice and spacious, and an added bonus is the lovely roof terrace.

They have a good variety of food on the menu and a full range of vegan, vegetarian and children’s options.  They have always been really accommodating when we have asked for slight changes (our son loves cheese on toast and they always make it for us!).  The service is overall pretty good, and even on a really busy day the maximum we have waited is about 30 minutes.  They have lots of board games and always have colouring for the kids to keep them occupied.  Its bar service so make sure you grab a table first and get a few activities for the kids, and then order the food.  Overall, a lovely place to eat, chat and relax. The “Loungers” restaurants started across the South West including Gloucester Quays and in Bristol which we haven’t explored, and now there are around 120 restaurants across England and Wales.  If you have been and would like to let us know your experience please email; [email protected]  Finally, it is family, friend and dog friendly. Well done “Loungers”!
